Description
Description
Real all-rounder
Pegasus has developed a fine city bike that will transport you effortlessly around town. An excellent frame, suspension elements and good equipment will give you many carefree kilometres.
Technology
Comfortable in the saddleAt the core of this city bike is the lightweight aluminium frame. This frame steers very fine and direct, so you'll have a nice ride even in the busy city. The cables are integrated into the frame, keeping them well protected from rain or other dirt. The riding position on this bike is upright, so you can cycle home after a busy day at work. If you want to fine-tune the riding position, you can adjust the seat post to your liking. For that extra bit of comfort, you have access to a suspension fork. This fork handles uneven road surfaces properly, giving just a little extra support to the forearms.
Low-maintenance drivetrain
This bike is equipped with the Shimano Nexus 7 internal hub gear. These seven gears provide a gear range of 244 per cent, so you'll also get up a viaduct or hill in fine gear. The drivetrain is not through a traditional chain, but through a belt drive. This belt drive is very smooth, quiet and low-maintenance. For braking, you can rely on Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. These brakes deliver a lot of braking power, even in poor conditions. In addition, these brakes have excellent control so you can go into every corner with confidence.
Versatile in use
The Pegasus is not only great for commuting, but also for daily errands. That's because Pegasus has opted for a luggage carrier, which you can easily mount panniers or a child seat on. Moreover, you will have a good lock and a stand, making it easy and safe to put the bike away.

Sturdy bike, met expectations, but rust bothers
After a month of using my new city bike, I am generally satisfied. The ride is smooth and the lighting meets my expectations. Unfortunately, however, rust is already starting to appear on the handlebar headset, which has hurt my confidence. When I took the bike to technical support, they explained that the rusting was normal and recommended preventive maintenance. Disappointment.

Very nice low-maintenance city bike
A nice sturdy bike. Cycling is super smooth and noiseless due to the belt. Also very Comfortable over curbs etc. thanks to the suspension. In addition, the bike brakes very stably. Only downside is that the bike is quite heavy.

A solid bike but that cycles/tracks lightly
Purposely did not buy a bike with pedal assistance! Just cycle/ pedal by yourself. And the bike rides well, smoothly and the seat is good too. I did adjust the saddle a bit higher. And I bought a women's model bike for the first time as a man. Reason: then a child's seat can be mounted on the back of the bike AND especially handy when getting off!!!
